One issue.
One thread.
Everything attached.

A thread is a single captured item – a cracked beam, a missing fire stop, a coat of paint that's the wrong color. Snap a photo, record a voice note, drop a measurement, tag the trade. Looom bundles it all into one thread with a timestamp and location. No folders. No file names. Just point, capture, move on.

  • Photo or video – the visual evidence
  • Voice note – say it, auto-transcribed
  • Measurement – AR or manual, attached to the thread
  • Written note – details that don't fit a photo
  • Location + timestamp – automatic, every time

Questions

Yes. All data lives on your device. Capture photos, manage punch lists, run site visits, record voice memos – no connectivity needed. Sharing reports requires a connection, but everything else works offline.

Two layers. On-device heuristics always run -- trade inference, thread classification, media counts. No API key needed, nothing leaves your device. Optional AI summaries use Claude to write natural-language descriptions from your photo and voice transcripts, and auto-generate titles for threads you left unnamed. Enable that layer with your own Anthropic API key in Settings.

All data stays on your device by default. The optional AI summary feature sends your photo and thread metadata to Claude's API -- only when you've added your own API key. When sharing reports, GPS and EXIF are stripped automatically. Links can be revoked or set to expire.

Generate an HTML report and share via iOS share sheet, or upload as a hosted link with 7/30/90-day expiration. Recipients don't need the app.
